Perhaps the dove—a symbol of the Holy Spirit descending in Christian baptism—or the olive branch brought back to Noah following the flood, marking the end of God’s Divine punishment? Isaiah prophesied that Jesus Himself would be called the Prince of Peace—and that of the greatness of His rule and peace there would be no end.
