At Franconia we are fascinated with Jesus. We are captivated by what Jesus taught and how he lived. We are amazed at how He died and was raised from the dead by God. We are intrigued by how Jesus poured out the Holy Spirit on those who entrust their lives to Him. We are committed to following Jesus in all things. Our lives are better by following Jesus; He makes us better at life also. We are sure Jesus will do the same for you and invite you to an honest look at Jesus. We believe that Jesus Christ will surprise you, change you, and fill you with new purpose and hope for this life and the age to come. Members of Franconia Mennonite Church share a Mennonite or Anabaptist perspective on matters of faith. It’s how we understand our commitment to following the way of Jesus Christ.
Following Jesus in daily life is a central value.
We believe that it is possible to follow Jesus as Lord above nationalism, racism or materialism.
We believe that it is possible to follow Jesus as a peacemaker. We believe that we can practice the way of Jesus’ reconciling love in human conflicts and warfare, without having to strike out in fear to defend ourselves.
We believe that we can live life simply and in service to others as a witness to God’s love for the world.
