In our day and age commitment is a scarce commodity! People are changing jobs, changing churches, changing spouses and even attempting to change genders. What does the long haul look like? What are the possibilities of remaining in the faith now that we are being challenged for being in it. The instructions in Hebrews 10 & 11 knows nothing about flimsy commitment and lets us know “we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.” (Heb. 10:39)   Pray along with me that this Sunday the Lord will convict us of our weaknesses and embolden us to be known as followers of Christ who never give up!
