Beginning our series Sunday on the “Heart of Worship” is indeed a huge topic that could last the remainder of the year!  A portion of that obviously is Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs. Someone said, “It’s only Christians who can rejoice in difficult times – even Moses complained about those rebels in the camp, Elijah fled when the going got tough and hid in a cave,  but it was Paul and Silas in prison who were praying and singing hymns at midnight.”

Yes, think of coming together for worship without our songs of praise!  I am eager to share with you this Sunday those Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual songs that I frequently use in my sermons because I know they usually say it better than I can!
