We continue the new life theme of our current series this Sunday in what I call “New Life – Family Analogy.” The family is so basic it seems like all the rest of life somehow flows out of it! I suppose that’s why they say, “as goes the family, so goes our culture.” Think about it, what would be the glue that could possibly hold a culture together apart from family? And yes, why would it be otherwise when the all-knowing and gracious God who desires for us the very best, first created the individual family and then gave us the instruction manual (the Bible) to go along with it! And, so significant to the life of our families are our mothers. This Sunday is Mother’s Day – God bless all of you who have brought so much of who God is into our families. It’s no coincidence that the one He intended to be the most intimate with our children He made sure they had a heart to do so! Happy Mother’s Day!!
