“The Prodigal Son”
A man’s ingrate son disowns his family and demands his inheritance. In his new pagan paradise he squanders it all only to end up starving and alone. Jesus told His disciples of this “prodigal” to get them to understand something about God and about themselves. Sunday’s sermon continues our summer series of character studies with the New Testament figure of the Prodigal Son. To soften your heart, read Luke 15:11-32 and listen to the song Prodigal by Casting Crowns.
