Millions around the world (believers and unbelievers alike) know John 3:16 and can begin reciting it— even from memory: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son… Therein contains all the “glad tidings” of Christmas—God loves us. Even when we were still sinners, living in a broken and fallen world, God looked on mankind with love. On that holy night when heaven came down and touched the earth, it was the lowly Shepherds who first saw God’s glory and heard the joyful news that Love itself had been born and was lying in a manger. As we continue to go about our Christmas celebrations and preparations, who are the lost sheep that God has put on your path?
