Near the beginning of this year, if you are a typical human being you would like to know more already than what you know. There is no shortage of evidence for that by the predictions already made but we know that’s all they are! Deut 29:29 has long been a stabilizer to me where it says: “The secret things belong to God but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of the law.” With most of 2026 still before us I am grateful God knows exactly how much to reveal to us and in his great mercy that which would be an overload – He keeps a secret! Jesus told his disciples, “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear.” Joshua 1:1-9 as Israel was entering a new land, God  revealed he would not forsake them and be with them wherever they go. The New Year, like Israel’s promised land, we too have not been there. That’s a secret thing that belongs to God but what’s revealed he will be with us wherever we go, that’s a promise!
