Throughout the Christmas story, we see a consistent theme emerge in response to good news: singing.  Zechariah sings.  Mary sings.  Angels sing.  Simeon sings.  And on Sunday, we’ll join our voices in song as well.  We’re wrapping up our “Sounds of the Season” sermon series with an opportunity for folks in the congregation to share the Christmas songs, verses, or lyrics that are especially meaning to them.  After each song is highlighted, we’ll then sing a few verses of that song.  Part sermon, part song-service, part open-mic sharing time -- we’re looking forward to praising God through these sounds of the season.  Come prepared to share if you feel so led.
