Someone said, “You can live 40 days without food, three days without water, six minutes without air, but not one second without hope.”   Certainly, joy and peace also could not survive in a hopeless environment, but the greatest of these is love.  Why?  (I John 4:16)  Love is the essence of why God is.  By God’s grace, I pray some new appreciation will come out of this (sometimes thought to be) overworked theme!
