Final Reminders
This Sunday closes out our seven week study in the book of Hebrews and while it is written to the Hebrews, about the Hebrews, chapter thirteen is very gentile-friendly! We cannot say for the most part that it is too steeped in Judaism and therefore to irrelevant for me. Do we not sometimes listen even more carefully to someone’s final words? Are they not often reserved for the end as if to say, “if you forget everything else I said, don’t forget this!” Don’t get me wrong, “all scripture is inspired by God” but there is a reason many people read the end of a book first. Pray along with me that God will use these easy to understand reminders to challenge and encourage every heart of those in attendance.
