“Rejoice greatly” and “shout”! These two imperative commands describe Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem and introduce the prophetic “red flags” signaling that this Jesus is indeed Israel’s long-awaited Messiah. Unlike Israel’s past kings, God promises—speaking through Zechariah the prophet—that this King will be righteous, victorious, and lowly. Join us as we gather in worship some two thousand years later, still amidst shouts of “Hosanna” to behold this coming King. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!
