This Sunday, as we gather around the Lord’s Table, we will be reminded from John 6 that communion is far more than a familiar routine—it is a holy encounter with Jesus, the Bread of Life. Christ calls us to move from taking communion for granted to receiving it with reverence, gratitude, and deep faith. The bread and cup point us away from temporary satisfaction and toward our complete dependence on Him for life. As we come to the table, we are invited to examine our hearts, surrender to Christ, and receive His grace together as one body.
