Stars have a special place in our hearts, it possibly began back in the nursery rhyme days – “Twinkle twinkle little star how I wonder where you are…”, or, someone who has become famous is often referred to as a star. But, Matthew 2:2 tells us the famous star of Christmas was ” HIS Star.” The Maji saw his star but we are not told anyone else did yet it was very real because it took them to the precise location! But there is more in this story than meets the eye, pray along with me that God will warm our hearts together this Sunday as we see his marvelous sovereign hand continuing to work out our salvation probably as late as two years after our Savior’s birth.
