God keeps His promises! Can you look back over your life and see the fingerprints of God’s faithfulness? If you’re anything like me, the old saying “hindsight is 20/20″ certainly resonates when I pause and look back. In the midst of those seasons of trial, tension, and waiting I often felt like God forgot about me, as if He had more pressing things to attend to. But when the Holy Spirit opens my eyes, I see that in every step, He was there—not slow in keeping His promises, but faithfully and lovingly working all things together for my good. May we earnestly join our hearts and minds together as we once again enter the season of Advent. This year, we’ll walk with the prophet Isaiah and see how God’s foretold promises of deliverance and salvation were so perfectly fulfilled in the coming of Jesus, our Immanuel!
