As we continue “growing together in God’s word”, the extent of our growth is directly proportional to one ingredient – “loving the word.” We know  all too well when we do what we don’t like to do, we do it only because we have to, but when we are doing what we love to do we can’t get enough of it. Applying that truth to the word of God – How do we fair? If you are into it only because you have to, I pray the Spirit will work in your heart so you will not be able to get enough! Job leaves no room for doubt, “I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread.” (Job 23:12) Give me O God that same desire!! Pray along with me that this message will ignite the Holy Spirit’s flame and burn in our hearts a love for his word that becomes an all consuming fire!
